Hello!
Welcome to the third edition of Canadian Student Review. Our aim
is to provide students with a much needed alternative to the typical and predictable
perspective on current public policy issues found in the standard campus newspaper.
For a liberal, politically correct view-point, look at any A.M.S. funded campus paper
(they usually specialize in that sort of thing). We look at current issues from a sound
economic perspective to see what works-and what doesn't. This is an approach rarely found
in academia, at least in the humanities; it is one that is lively and topical, and has the
added virtue of yielding truth.
We hope to simulate your thoughts and generate debate with the contributions in this issue
from syudents across Canada. Your comments are welcome, and we encourage you to contribute
to the next issue.
