Hello!
This issue of the Canadian Student Review features the "politically corrupt"
crisis that is plaguing Canadian universities. This new brand of discrimination has
different aliases: employment equity, affirmative action, speech codes. The coined phrases
do not disguise what these policies truly represent. They are New and Improved
Discrimination, Racism and Sexism Lite, and they replace the old, bad discrimination of
years past. Our feature articles are written by students who are frustrated with the
hypocrisy that is permeating university administrations. And of course, for the
economically inclined, we have a healthy dose of crucial policy articles. Please read this
issue with a critical mind. Then tell us what you think; we look forward to publishing
your response in the next issue.
