The Welfare State:
Neither Well Nor Fair
Hello Again and Bonne Année!
With spring on the way and yet another Quebec referendum behind us, renewal has appeared
as the dominant theme of much of our national conversation these days. As you might
imagine, the contributors to this issue of the Canadian Student Review have much to offer
in the way of constructive, persuasive, radical ideas for Canada's future. Do you agree
with them? Disagree? Why not write us with your comments or e-mail us at
fraser_institute@mindlink.bc.ca? Also, check out the CSR centrefold which announces the
Fraser Institute's web site and pay us a visit there!
Once again, we wish to thank the Lotte and John Hecht Memorial Foundation for their
generous sponsorship of this issue of the Canadian Student Review.
