Survey conducted by Gallup Canada, March 18--24, 1998; 1003 adults, 18 years old and over were interviewed. The margin of error has been calculated as 3.1 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. Four percent of respondents surveyed had no opinion about changes to laws governing marijuana possession.
