The survey of 2,013 Canadians was conducted by Environics Research Group and was reported in the Globe and Mail, May 27, 1998. Ekos Research put home Internet access at 28 percent in October 1997. Pollara put the figure at 27 percent in July 1997 (cited in Stentor, 1998, p. 26 fn. 61)
